There are two significant factors that help maintain a good relationship with customers. The first one is constant interaction with customers through messages, calls, and emails. The second one is providing excellent services.

Earlier, a large number of companies believed in using Excel Spreadsheets, which stores data such as name, email address, phone numbers, and purchased products. After CRM's arrival, it becomes much easier to store additional information about the customers. In addition, you can plan activities, take follow-ups, and analyze customer buying behavior.

Odoo is 15 out now with significant changes. Along with other apps of the Odoo, the CRM module has got new features for precise lead management.

Leads Management in Odoo 15 CRM

Among all Odoo modules, CRM is the most polished whose features help repair strained ties with customers and ensures speedy lead generation. With updated CRM, you can easily maintain the pipeline of customers and clients as well. Furthermore, you can also view the full details of leads on the dashboard of the CRM module. It is also possible to categorize the leads into various categories or stages. It allows you to optimize and create new stages in the pipeline.

Besides, it is easy to identify the areas where the possibility is high for sales and marketing to improve. It is also possible to inspect the leads from the pipeline and you have to move the leads from one stage to another. Keep the pipeline updated to maintain it. As a result, team members can frequently do follow-ups.

On top of that, you are allowed to add specific filters in CRM like my pipeline, my assigned partners, unassigned, unread messages, open opportunities, creation date, closed date, won, and lost. Moreover, you are free to create a custom filter as per your requirements.



You can find the details of the leads like opportunity name, expected revenue, and customer name in the CRM dashboard. Besides, you can spot the expected revenue of the pipeline near the name of the stage. The status bar defines the number of planned activities, overdued leads, and many more. All categories are classified with different colors and assessments of the leads as shown below. 



You can group the leads as per the Salesperson, Sales Team, Stage, Assigned Partner, City, Country, Lost Reason, Company, Campaign, Medium, Source, Creation Date, Expected Closing, and Closed Date.



You can obtain sufficient information about the leads  after clicking on them. You can find the notes about your leads under the Internal Notes option. On top of that, you can get the details of contact information, company name, detailed address, website, language, title, job position, contact name, and mobile number using the Extra Information option. The meeting option can be used to get an overview of scheduled meetings or create a meeting with the leads. 

With the Quotations option, you can obtain information about the sales orders and quotations sent. Odoo  CRM has a key feature that helps spot similar leads based on the lead you have chosen. Now, click on the similar option to get the opportunities that bear a resemblance to the selected leads.

Click on the Quotation tab to create a new quotation. In the same manner, click on the new Rental button to create a new rental of the products. In addition, You can label the lead as WON or LOST based on the activities done and the analysis of the sales orders. Clicking on the Enrich button will allow you to enrich the opportunity with the company data as shown in the screenshot given below.



Additionally, you can archive, duplicate, and delete the lead. You can add to the call queue and enrich using the Action option. By clicking the EDIT button, you can edit the details as per your requirement. You can view the progress of the lead by checking the stages such as NEW, QUALIFIED, PROPOSITION, and WON.

Click on the plus symbol for quick inclusion of leads to the database. Enter the details such as the Name of the contract or company, the Name assigned to the opportunity, Phone number, Email address, Expected revenue, and the lead priority. Once you enter the details, click on the SAVE  button to save the lead.
